Dmitri Volkov
AvailableFrontend Engineer
Product engineer who ended up specialising in the rendering layer.
Most of my recent work has been on the app router, streaming responses and
the awkward seam where server-rendered markup has to become an interactive tree
without flickering.
Skills
Frontend Engineer
Current PositionSep 2021 – Present
Rebuilt a marketing and commerce front end on the Next.js app router.
- Moved data fetching to the server, deleting the client-side cache entirely.
- Wrote the streaming/suspense boundaries that keep the above-the-fold content
interactive while the recommendation rail is still loading.
