Responsibilities
- Product Development & Maintenance: Active, hands-on contribution to the development, scaling, and maintenance of the Optimizely Campaign platform, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Guiding junior engineers, conducting rigorous code reviews, and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented engineering culture.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering closely with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers within an agile framework to refine requirements and deliver seamless end-to-end features.
- Operational Ownership: Monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuously optimizing the performance and security of our core services and components.
- Develop features for substantial parts of a highly reliable, scalable and performant omni-channel marketing platform sending billions of personalized messages a month.
- Design, implement and run highly scalable data-driven services that ingest, deduplicate, count, aggregate, store, archive, transfer, process and visualize a huge amount of data.
- Communicate requirements as well as technical challenges and decisions to multiple stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvements to the usability, reliability, performance and security of our product.
- Conduct high-quality code reviews.
- Leverage continuous integration processes and software deployments within responsibility of the team
